After graduating from U of T, he started a 25 year career with in the insurance industry working in the group pensions, compliance and investment areas holding various management positions. In parallel to this he also maintained a tennis career holding head pro and club manager positions promoting tennis participation at the community club level. He is actively certified as ClubPro 3, Coach 2 within the Canadian System and also holds Certifications with the global Professional Tennis Registry. Holder of the Tennis Canada Distinguished Service Award. In addition he has actively volunteered within the tennis community culminating in his present position as the Board Chair of the Ontario Tennis Association.

Professionally currently retired he continues to volunteer.
